Illegal Immigrants Allowed Legal Citizenship What does it mean to be an illegal immigrant? An illegal immigrant is a person that migrated across national borders in such a way that violates the immigration laws of the designated country. There have been a lot of debates on whether illegal immigrants should be allowed legal citizenship in the United States. In my opinion, I believe that illegal immigrants should not be allowed legal citizenship because it violates the country’s law. Hey, the majority of immigrants come in illegally for some reason may it be opportunity or purpose. In my eyes, these illegal immigrants come to the United States and have access to government assistance programs that are available, but do not have to pay the proper taxes. These are the beginning actions that lead to an economic burden.
